I worked at Nando's Peri Peri full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, good food and good upper management. Easy menu and duties to learn and (mostly) good co workers

    Cons

Terrible immediate management, some horrid co workers who could actually try to physically harm others who they think are in their way to management. lt's not easy to move up from runner to other positions if a manager deems you not good enough or too good.

    Advice to Management

Don't play favorites even if they are good performers. A nasty personality is a nasty personality no matter what--but this does reflect management. If there are divisions between co workers find the causes, and solve them. Schedule certain people(prone to actual harmful physicality with others)away from others who actually do their job.

I worked at Nando's Peri Peri full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Getting a job here is easy if you're willing to put it the work. The people here are great, mostly other employees and you get pretty close to people quick. Customers are #1 and you'll get regulars that turn out to be really good people, They love the chicken. Nando's will have events in the community you live around and they are also great with the other stores around their location. Some days you'll have morning meets for new menu items and different event its great even if you have to wake up early a day you don't work! The food is amazing having that as part of the perks is amazing, trust me. You'll enjoy working here, i think its a great job if you're in high school or college and aren't hoping for a high paying job!

    Cons

The downside is the management, some are great and some need a bit or training, we are a family and everyone should respect each other. Boss one day friend next either find a middle ground or pick one. The other thing is you'll probably get the same pay longer then you think you should no matter how much work you put in. They will give you the hours you need if you're willing to work trust me. But i learned over 4 different positions and never got a raise. I was there for 8 months and whenever i do something i give it my all, so i never understood why i was giving more then i was getting.

    Advice to Management

If they would contact me, i could definitely give them a few tips, this could really be a great place to grow if they got somethings together. Some of the jobs aren't as easy as you think and i know that could lead to high turn overs. They need to do some brain storms on how to make some things easier for their employees.

    Pros

The managers are relaxed but stern an let you live your life as long as you come in and get your job done.

    Cons

They hire young people so sometimes the work gets put on a single individual because they are the only one that cares. ( Besides the managers)

    Advice to Management

Be more strict on who you hire
