I have been working at Nando's UK full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free meal each shift over 4.5 hours
    Approachable management

    Cons

'Breaks' - yes you do get a 30 minutes break, but we are ALWAYS told to go on our break within an hour of our arrival, even if it's an 8 hour shift so that's hardly a break. The record for me was I started at 4pm and was told to go on a break at 4:08pm... this is actually against the law but it keeps happening
Close - even though it shuts at 10pm, if you're on a close don't expect to get out of there before 12:30am at the earliest!
Work is very intensive and so particular and picky it's very stressful
My branch is always understaffed so one person does the work of 3.

    Advice to Management

Get cleaners so we don't have to be on our knees scrubbing everything for 3 hours after a close!

Nando’s is a great place to work because it has schemes like the Nandoca pledge, which really benifits your life

It can be very stressful at times and customers can be a little harsh but over all there are way more pros the cons

    Advice to Management

Management are management. They don’t need advice they Just need to listen more to Nandocas point of views. As they are the ones in the deep end
