I worked at Nannies From the Heart part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Flexible. Access part-time or full-time employment opportunities.

    Cons

I was asked to tell a family I met through Care.com to sign up for Nannies from the heart in order to view my background clearance, which I paid for. Management would not release the clearance to me, even though I gave them the original copy. Very disappointing.

    Advice to Management

    Stop putting profits before employees.

I have been working at Nannies From the Heart for more than a year

      Pros

-Extremely flexible: Only have to take the jobs that work for your schedule -Application and interview process is fairly quick -Most families are amazing: once you work for a family, they often request you back -Pay is reasonable and most families pay more than the base rate

      Cons

-The background check took a couple weeks to process, so it was almost a month before I could start working -Jobs are given to whoever replies first, so it can be hard to get jobs sometimes -In the few instances when I needed to contact NH for a last-minute address or because of a mix-up, my calls weren't answered immediately, which was frustrating when I couldn't get a hold of them and had no way to contact a family...
