Be less hard on workers so that they will do better next time.

I worked at Nassau Health Care as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The best reason to work here is the calm/quiet environment. I did an unpaid internship so I did not get any compensation, however I did get a gift when I left which consisted of money, flowers, and cupcakes. Everyone has their own work cubicle and contain a positive/neutral attitude. The main thing is I felt very comfortable there and did not want to leave when it was time.

    Cons

There financial system was out of date.

    Advice to Management

Management seemed very flexible in my opinion, but I have overheard employees complaining of pay.

I worked at Nassau Health Care as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good vent and trachea and medical surgical experience.

    Cons

The staff are very welcoming to new employees and helpful, the workload is too much for one person.

The union environment can be an issue for advancement

    Advice to Management

Consider all employees for advancement, not just union members.
