A company that cares
Oct 29, 2020 - Senior Project Manager in San Carlos, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
What struck a chord with me most was how they look after their employees. They made me feel welcome, helped me learn and adapt to their working style, and allowed plenty of scope for growth. Senior management works hard to ensure that the work-culture stays productive, conducive, and easy-going. For the first time, I felt like I was part of a caring team of thorough professionals. Their work culture is top-notch!
Cons
Some employees take advantage of Natera’s excellent work culture. Such people should be taken to task.

Excellent perks
Oct 22, 2020 - Senior Project Manager in San Carlos, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Their work culture is fantastic! The salary structure is above industry standard. We can bring our pets to work, and their canteen is ridiculously good! People are warm, friendly, and no work-politics. I loved working here.
Cons
I wish we had more annual events for employees.

Brilliant employees, entrepreneurial culture
Sep 17, 2013 - Product Manager in San Carlos, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
-You will work with brilliant people. -You have the opportunity to 'rise in the ranks' quickly. Because the company is small, each employee has high visibility and Natera is good at promoting from within. -The company culture has a high sense of purpose. This isn't just another tech company - the work Natera does is extremely meaningful and the culture reflects this. -You won't be micromanaged. Natera is still an entrepreneurial environment and employees enjoy high levels of autonomy.
Cons
-If you are looking for a strong training program or high levels of structure, this might not be the best environment for you. However, the company is working on implementing more processes, so if you enjoy putting structure around tasks, there is an opportunity for you at Natera.

No politics, no-nonsense
Nov 26, 2020 - Assistant Project Manager in San Carlos, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Natera is one of those few companies that actually ensure their work culture stays conducive. Politics, partiality, and favoritism do not exist here. Instead, management works hard to create an informal atmosphere, a close-knit team, and merit-based growth. If you’re ready to work hard and grow, this place is heaven!
Cons
Nothing significant comes to mind.

Pros
Good work/life balance, interesting problems to work on. Perks are nice. Office culture is fairly laid back and there is very little pressure to work crazy hours. Overall company growth is definitely on the right track.
Cons
Feels understaffed, so constantly playing catch up on issues, rather than dealing with long term solutions. Focus of the company seems to change on a weekly basis, resulting in lots of unnecessary delays and useless work.

Work with leaders
Jun 30, 2020 - Medical Coder in San Carlos, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I’ll cut to the chase. Generous salary structure, robust incentive system, flexible vacation time to begin with. Work culture is phenomenal. The canteen is genuinely above average with three free meals per week. Senior management is qualified and responsible. Products are cutting edge and world-class.
Cons
Nope. It was all good.I did not find any major cons

No politics, only merit-based growth
Jun 5, 2020 - Senior Project Manager in San Carlos, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I worked here for a good five years. One of the greatest things about Natera is how they vehemently preserve their work culture. I know this sounds cliché, but there is no politics, bias, or favoritism here. People are encouraged to help each other and work towards shared goals. Management actively avoids bias of any sort and only favors merit. You work hard and reap your rewards. It’s simple, effective, and healthy.
Cons
There were a few instances where employees tried to incite misunderstandings between co-workers. Fortunately, senior management acted quickly and resolved the issue.
