I worked at National Association of Chain Drug Stores full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This Trade Association is everything right about working for a small company. The people are fun but professional, the work can be challenging and they do offer numerous opportunities for growth. They are also really fond of vacation time, providing such things as Holiday Break (vacation from Christmas to New Years).

    Cons

It's such a small company that promotion is difficult beyond perfunctory change in title.

    Advice to Management

Encourage growth WITHIN the company. Don't groom your staff to work for other firms!

I have been working at National Association of Chain Drug Stores full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management really shows that they care for the employees, plenty of half days, holiday week between Christmas and New Year, staff events, etc. Great staff to work with across the board.

    Cons

The only downside I can find is that it's very slow for advancement. People love working here, so the people above you aren't going anywhere anytime soon, that definitely makes it difficult to move up.

    Advice to Management

Keep working on promoting from within. It's a wonderful thing to see the staff that have worked their way up in the organization over the years.

    Pros

Great work life balance. Plenty of perks that allow for fun while working and keeping sanity

    Cons

None that I can think of off the bat. It is a great place to work. I have no complaints

    Advice to Management

Continue providing parking, coffee, half days in the summer, events that we can take our families to and providing a friendly spirit for staff to enjoy

I worked at National Association of Chain Drug Stores full-time

    Pros

Good place to work, good benefits, slowing moving towards a more casual work enviroment.

    Cons

Not a lot of room for upward mobility. More opportunities for staff to work together would be nice.
