I worked at National Australia Bank as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

There was an inclusive and very positive culture at NAB. The salary is great. My contract was extended for delivering above what was expected which shows their willingness to reward hard work.

    Cons

At times the nature of my work was monotonous but this was considerably less of an issue than at other jobs because of great colleagues.

    Advice to Management

Keep being innovative in the way team problems are approached - 'Buzz' meetings always solved issues through informal communication and collaboration.

I have been working at National Australia Bank as an intern

    Pros

springs to mind immediately is that even today banking pays more than what the average street pay is for a similarly qualified / experience person

    Cons

Most financial services industry positions are fast-paced and high-stress. Financial analysts and traders are assessed according to their performance, and a string of bad calls can impact your income or even cost you your job

    Advice to Management

Bring more opportunities to young generation to learn about banking industry
Give candidates more chances to express themselves
