I have been working at National Bank of Greece full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Fullfills a critical function for society in Greece which means your carreer here *could* make an impact to the outside world, non-demanding environment, pre-set salaries irrespective of qualifications (good if you're not highly qualified), guaranteed to exist as a company for years to come (that doesn't mean you'll be in it)

    Cons

pre-set salaries irrespective of qualifications (really low salaries if you're highly qualified), personnel with a good skillset level than can help you learn/grow is a rarity, personnel that you can work with that meets a minimum skill standard is about 40%-50%

    Advice to Management

Most of the older personnel should be demoted/fired, and the exact oposite for younger personel (I'm not young mind you, it's just the way it is, a result of past vs new hiring practices). Salaries should better reflect individual skill and not be completely dependent on years served.

I worked at National Bank of Greece as an intern

    Pros

Colleagues were great and the working conditions were good. The environment helps you to gain exposure to the sector you're working in.

    Cons

The facilities were not really new (very old printers and computers) and employees had limited access to most office supplies.

    Advice to Management

Start collaborating more with interns and give them the chance to undertake more duties and tasks from the beginning of their internships.
