I have been working at National Beverage full-time

    Pros

I honestly can’t think of any pros.

    Cons

Hiring all of Coke’s rejects and pushing out employees who are/were faithful and committed. They don’t promote from within the company.

I have been working at National Beverage full-time

    Pros

You get to leave the site to buy food at anytime. Nobody cares.

    Cons

Mandatory Saturdays - Supervisors are mandated to work as production supervisor UNCOMPENSATED. It doesn't matter if you're sanitation, warehouse, or maintenance - YOU WILL WORK on Saturdays as production with no support from the managers so they can live a comfortable personal life. Managers do not value their employees - the legitimate concerns and safety issues that are constantly being brought up are completely ignored. In fact, they attack you and argue with you instead of addressing the issues. They nitpick and email everybody to belittle you although it's unnecessary and childish. In other words, power hungry. It's a boss mentality, not a leader. MICROMANAGING AT ITS BEST. Safety issues - blind spots, slippery and wet floors with no requirement to wear non-slip safety shoes, broken glasses that will sit for days. INTENSE HEAT with no air circulation. Ceiling fans have not been working. The building is a convection oven. NO SAFETY POLICIES in place. GMP is not the same as SAFETY. No growth opportunity - NONE! Plain and simple. The corporate mission and vision statement does not reflect at all. The items mentioned above are the culture of this company. If you have value your career and self-respect, this is not the place to be part of.

I have been working at National Beverage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great pay, pretty much unlimited overtime and pretty good benefits as well.

    Cons

Managers are the very last people that should be managing others. They disrespect and expect people to read minds and tell the future. They also love to play the blame game. Theres a saying"You can do it any way you want, as long as its my way" that is so true.

I worked at National Beverage full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Good people that are committed

    Cons

You have to work up to 25 days in a row to get a day off, Management doesn't care about the people or their family. The building is hot, hot , hot. The maintenance department is a joke, because their manager has no glue. Hispanics are catered to, because the plant manager looks out for them, but looks down on blacks (less than 10 work at this location)

I have been working at National Beverage full-time

    Pros

The hours are steady and most of the people are really nice.

    Cons

Benefits are terrible. Especially medical and no pension or matching IRA. Worst purchasing department ever with suppliers threatening to stop selling flavor and dry ingredients. Cost savings trumps everything else including quality of the brands.
