I worked at National Children's Bureau part-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

The people working there are some of the most committed and passionate about their jobs that you will ever find, and despite this, they still have a great sense of community and life balance.

      Cons

It's a charity, so as governments and funding changes, the organisation has to respond. Pay isn't the best you could find for your skill set but there are other non-monetary perks that balance things out.

      Advice to Management

Unite your team, stabilise the organisation so it's less hit by political policies, and listen to your employees more. They are experts in their field, they know what they're talking about. That's why you hired them.
