    Negative Outlook

I have been working at National Coney Island full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work around my school schedule well, gives me the hours I want and all of my requested days off.

    Cons

One girl unfairly runs the other girls with no management supervision, no money made because girls are not trusted, male run company with big egos, exclude you if you don't work there for a long time, plays favorites, no room to move up.

    Advice to Management

Get with it, learn better management style, be more fair with the girls so they can make money, treat good employees with respect and show appreciation so they will stick around, punish everyone fairly.

    Cons

There wasn't enough money there. Raises came few and far between. Minimum wage was too close to my wages

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

It's a pretty laid back place, and can be fun when working with the right people. Also, the discount on food is nice.

    Cons

Night shifts (4pm to 9pm) were terribly slow, and the average tip is $2-3. Older waitresses are very catty and disrespectful when providing advice or tips.

    Advice to Management

Don't take your job so seriously, it's Coney Island. Also, they could try and be a bit more flexible with sick days and such.

    Pros

    Free food
Will usually get a decent amount of hours if you ask for them
    Nice atmosphere
The people there are fun to work with

    Cons

    No opportunity for advancement
    Outdated ticketing system
The pay is low compared to similar jobs
    Not much respect for staff

    Advice to Management

Have management spend more time training employees. This would help to reduce turnover. Every other day someone was getting replaced.
