I have been working at National Defence and the Canadian Forces full-time

    Pros

Great salary, great social advantages as for dental, drugs, health care, great pension program, great vacancy 20 days at begining.

    Cons

There are no real cons, you just do your job and you might get posted at a place that you dont choose to but you deal with it or also deployed in a conflit but its part of the military reality.

    Advice to Management

Everything is well managed, there is a good hierarchie put in place buy the ranks and everyone respects that which contributs to a good atmosphere and work place.

I have been working at National Defence and the Canadian Forces full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Long or short term employment, excellent holiday package, good pay, excellent chances of advancement, excellent training opportunities, learn new skills.

    Cons

Too many moves. Moving the family is very tough and difficult for the spouse to get employment. The strong possibility of having to go to war is another serious aspect to consider with poissble injury or death.

    Advice to Management

Try to have your people move less. Be creative in keeping your personnel in the same place for extended periods of time.
