    Pros

    Some of my colleagues were really great people.

    Cons

    This company cares only about how many sales they bring in each day. This is, of course, important - however, they have zero regard for their employees, company culture, or reasonable expectations.

    I worked at National Event Management (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Really covers the nation and beyond for Outdoor Shows and more. Great model for other specific sport shows to supplement large shows.

    Cons

    Too bad there wasn't a bike show in more Canadian cities to match the Vancouver Show.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on with your great service and excellence

    I worked at National Event Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Salary and Commission structure is fair, open door policy, emphasis on working as a team to reach targets together

    Cons

    Communication isn't great, a lot of client overlaps, no specific territory to work within which makes it difficult when bringing in new business

    Advice to Management

    More open lines of communication - office gossip spreads the news long before you do

    Staff are friendly and for the most part get along like a big family.

    Cons

    Owner has NO morals. BEWARE.

    Advice to Management

    Seek a mentor to assist you with growing the business ethically. Bullies don't win in the end.
