    Pros

Helping patients and families that are in need in the end of life situation for a loved one. Benefits and PTO.

    Cons

Upper management does not care about their employees. Promoting the wrong people into management. Moral is horrible and the turn over in the company is unreal. Communication within management and employees does not exist unless they threaten you or someone else's job after you were told to do it a certain way to begin with. Many changes and no one informs anything to the msts. Letting certain people get away with things and another person does it and losses their job. Favoritism is played trendomously Would not recommend this company.

    Advice to Management

Watch who you promote. Get out of the office and actually be involved within the warehouses and actually let you staff know that you all truly appreciate them. Mst's actually are the ones that are keeping you in business and are the front line for you.

I worked at National HME full-time

    Pros

    Cons

Terrible management , no equipment in stock or on hand and they will schedule anyways. Very unprofessional, ran by 3 best buddies, very cliqued environment.

    Pros

Getting to make a difference in people’s lives. Most of the people are nice. Working with nurses is a good experience. Helping families in a hard time.

    Cons

Management is horrible. Upper and lower. Schedules get changed without discussion. Definitely don’t recommend this company!!! Pay is horrible. Chairs are old and broken. They play favorites. Working conditions aren’t the best. No room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Treat your people better. Pay them more. Give them growth opportunities. Don’t play favorites.

I worked at National HME full-time

    Pros

Serving people in their time of greatest need. A few quality coworkers.

    Cons

Upper management is a train wreck. Just look at all the turnover in leadership positions over the past few years. All they care about is sales and making the books look good.

    Advice to Management

Remember that patients, not dollars need to be at the heart of every decision. Quit partying it up on the road and get back to the "Heart of Hospice."

    Pros

You get a paycheck, and Medical benefits

    Cons

No respect, they don't give bonuses, awards, or do anything for employees besides give them more work without more pay. NO PAID HOLIDAYS you have to use your PTO if you want to get paid to be off on a holiday., I have never worked for a company that showed such disregard for their employees, the morale is so bad the whole atmosphere is miserable.

    Advice to Management

    Quit treating employees like sh*t,

I have been working at National HME full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Helping patients and their families in a tough time. Decent pay with yearly raises even though it may only be .07 cents.

    Cons

The upper management seems like they could care less about how they treat any of employees under them except for the PCRS, when it's Us Msts that are out in the snow, sleet, rain, ice, wind, mud, sweltering sun whatever we have to do to try and keep patients happy. Very Poor Equipment being delivered to patients Supposed to be working under the "Grandparent Standard". Well 90% of the equipment I deliver I wouldn't want my loved ones to have.

    Advice to Management

Be a management. Train your branch managers to manage, not just promote a driver that has no real managing skills..
