    Pros

    The staff are truly a family and would do a lot to help each other.

    Cons

    You will quickly burn out due to the paper work and teaching all day.

    I worked at National Head Start Association part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Steady hours, and summers off.

    Cons

    Responsonbile for everything the lead teacher is yet half the pay. Expect too much, kept adding on more paperwork and responsibilities. Too much pressure and not enough support. Paid far too little as an assistant. Also never allowed to make little mistakes.

    The activities and fun you can have being with kids all day

    Cons

    Stressful because most of the parents don't care for their children and you end up attaching to them and when they turn 5 their time with you is over.
