Have a decent salary for a policy centre, but done by fooling the govt that work is done.

Sombody stop funding this place, It is run by crooks thieving taxpayers money.

I have been working at National Institute of Public Finance & Policy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Macro-finance team is a mix of economists, lawyers and IT guys that enables you to pick a wide array of skill sets including academic research, policy analysis, and the relevant software skills.

    Cons

One feels underpaid for the work one does.
Ideally one should stick around for a couple of years and then move on.

    Advice to Management

Need to bring the salary scales to at least 50% of private sector pay scales.
