I have been working at National Motor Club full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Better pay than retail, great co-workers, and the ability to get some reading done in-between calls. The actual work itself is incredibly easy.

    Cons

Management has no organization. Ask 3 different managers the same question and you'll get 3 different answers. Upper management is more concerned with getting new clients than establishing a tolerable work place. Schedules are wildly inconsistent. Will definitely burn you out over time.

    Advice to Management

Get your stuff together! People are generally disgruntled and it's because they don't get support from the higher-ups.

I have been working at National Motor Club (More than a year)

    Pros

Its a job if you need a job.

    Cons

Ready to fire anyone on the spot without investigating both sides. No company organization. You don't know who to go to when you have a problem or concern. No proper training for managers on how to manage the employees. This company is about quantity not quality, and management has its favorites.

    Pros

The owners of NMC treat the employees very well. Besides the 'regular' benefits (401k, HSA, tuition reimbursement, etc.), the company has an entire week dedicated to employee recognition (waterslides, games, party). Also, the kitchen was stocked every week with fresh fruit, oatmeal, granola bars, breakfast bars, etc.

    Cons

Not a lot of 'diversity'. Basically, all of the higher-ups are white men. There was one Indian in the IT department (in a city with a high Indian population) and I cannot think of a single black man who worked there.
