    I worked at National Shopping Service as a contractor (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    For over five years I worked for them and while their check payment came about 45-60 days after the work had been completed, their checks were good and they provided a good breakdown of payment and expenses, for tax purposes.

    Cons

    THEY OWE ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! My LAST shop for them was performed near the end of May 2017. The check I received in February 2017 bounced, but was replaced with a good one. But checks due for March April and May 2017 have NEVER COME! The company has disappeared! And, they have failed to pay 100's of us for work we performed correctly and timely. THIS COMPANY, THIS OWNER, MADE MILLIONS!! Still, they abandoned their Faithful Shoppers both without payment and without explanation. Owner Matt Wozniak may have died, BUT THAT IS NO REASON FOR HIS HEIRS TO SCREW THE PEOPLE THAT GENERATED THE INCOME THEY ENJOY! WE WANT TO ENJOY THE INCOME WE EARNED!! WE worked hours, drove hours, wrote commentary, spent gas money and had significant expenses, working honorably for our income. BUT YOUR COMPANY AND HEIRS and Attorneys HAVE NOT BEEN HONORABLE WITH US, YOU JUST LEFT US HANGING, PENNYLESS!

    Advice to Management

    To management, heirs, attorneys and you Bean Counters: Do the HONORABLE thing, And PAY US WHAT YOU OWE US! WE CONTRACTORS DID OUR PART. YOU BROKE THE CONTRACT...NOW FIX IT, BY PAYING US, ASAP!!

    Pros

    I loved getting assignments. They were easy to complete as long as we followed the guidelines

    Cons

    Pay wasn´t great but when they offered bonuses, it made it much more enjoyable.

    Advice to Management

    Seriously, what happened? I did not get paid for my last two shops. How do we know if we would ever get compensated for our completed shops?

    Did not get paid for my work.

    Advice to Management

    I would like to know why you cant be reached? and your website is gone? I would like to get paid for the work I completed for you. I have not been paid in over 2 months for work I completed in April and May it is a sizable amount.

    I worked with a lot of clients, talked to some really nice people

    Cons

    Stressful, the job was based on making deadlines. If a deadline wasn't met it meant no bonuses.

    Pros

    I have worked for this company for over 5 years and have had no problems with them until last month. Was an easy and decent company to deal with until recently.

    Cons

    Use to pay on time and correctly. Payments have been screwed up or not paid at all for 2 months and I currently have a large payment due to me that I doubt I will receive. They should have forewarned people

    Advice to Management

    Answer your emails and pay your people. We did our work in good faith you need to pay the same, in good faith. Give answers to questions concerning payments.

    Pay people who you owe. Give actual legit phone numbers.

    Pros

    Management was extremely flexible working with my schedule, so long as it didn't interfere with deadlines. The work environment was very comfortable.

    Cons

    The pay wasn't great, and there was a lot of inconsistency in how employees were treated/appreciated depending on their department.
