I have been working at National Speakers Bureau full-time
Great culture - collaborative and upbeat, a company with integrity, there's always something new to learn, and we get to work every day with amazing speakers and people in the events industry.
No cons - this has been a great job.

Great team environment. Good people.
Very little room for growth. Earning potential with commissions isn't as attainable as led to believe.
After a few months into the job, I learned really quickly that the role wasn't as dynamic as I had hoped and that the tasks were monotonous/repetitive.
I had to ask for a performance review after six months. I developed great professional relationships with the clients and always gave 110% percent - which was acknowledged during my review. Unfortunately, the lack of bonus incentives coupled with the monotony sent me packing.
Casual side talk during work hours was highly discouraged - kept to a minimum.
Advice to Management
Perhaps create a sliding scale for quotas. It's frustrating for a sales support team to come shy of a sales goal (within $1000), only to be denied any type of bonus. It really breaks morale.
In my opinion, allowing team to chat through cubicle, especially during stressful periods or even downtime, does not effect work performance. It actually builds camaraderie.

Some flexibility with work schedule
Raises are rare; no formal performance review process; extremely quiet work environment; conversations beyond work topics are discouraged
