    Pros

Good referral bonus if you want to refer family or friends. You're allowed to work with your family if you ever decide you want to.

    Cons

Unfortunately the pro can also be a con. Because relatives are allowed to be employed this causes a lot of gossip. Especially when your family member is in a higher position. Confidential information is always being leaked because family members share it with each other and the recipient spreads it to everyone. This is exactly how gossip and rumors start.

    Advice to Management

In my opinion HR needs to do a better job of enforcing leadership abuse. Everyone else realizes that family and work do not mix. Enough sensitive information about employees has been released and enough is enough. An employee's personal and professional business should be and always remain confidential.

    Pros

A Bowling league paid for by the company that you can join when it comes around annually. Free coffee and vending machines.

    Cons

Senior leaders seem to be the dark cloud of this company. One of the Vice Presidents told us if we weren't happy to go find happiness somewhere else. One of the directors thrives off perception and is constantly looking to ostracize someone and label them degenerative employees. The same director has constantly lectured us about gossips, triangulation, innuendo, and rumors, yet will engage in it and start it. A director has also invited subordinates and employees directly in their department, to their house parties and weekend get togethers, yet executives will wonder why staff complains of favoritism when it's undeniably evident. The CEO seems like a nice person but at the end of the day they are responsible for everything that transpires. The captain of the ship should be more assertive about addressing these frequent issues and steering us in the right direction.

    Advice to Management

Staff members should be inspired by their company leaders and think highly of them, not be discouraged and demotivated. We should be looking up to our managers, directors, and executives and admire them. Bring back office professionalism and stop the fraternizing to end all gossip. This is just my opinion and perception.

    Pros

    free parking in a garage

    Cons

A small non-profit company with 200+ employees pretends it's Capital One. The upper management pretends they listen. The sales team pretends they know the products. The operational team pretends it runs the entire company. The IT and finance pretend they are busy and productive. HR pretends they exist. Executives pretend they are brothers and sisters. Work here if you are about to retire. Don't expect career development or growth.

I have been working at National Student Clearinghouse full-time

    Pros

New office space coming by next summer. The office has great views of the toll road and future metro stop.

    Cons

I've never worked with a bigger group of nosy coworkers. Some employees are simply anxious to find out your business so they can gossip and tell management. When Some of us try to ignore it they become more persistent and assume you have something to hide. Can't make a simple phone call without someone asking me who I was speaking with and why I was away from my cubical. People seem more concerned about others than with their own work responsibilities. Even management does it. I've had numerous meetings where our director and managers asked us if we've "heard anything" and to let them know if we do.

    Advice to Management

Executives should tell senior leaders to stop speculating over nothing. If a director is that paranoid about what their department is saying, then maybe they have something to hide or know they are guilty of gossip. Managers should tell their staff to stop the gossip and do it themselves. Employees should be able to have a private phone call about their kids or family without being ambushed afterwards. Simply put, mind your business.

    Pros

    Dedicated employees and great location.

    Cons

It's very sad to see a company going down hill like NSC. Who is next and how long will I survive are the top questions each executive asks daily. They are ready to throw anyone out of the bus as long as they can survive. The employee morale has been very low but no action has been taken.

    Advice to Management

Stop the politics and focus on the employees and business.

Great coffee from all over the globe. Nice big lobby in the building's front entrance. Beautiful gardens. Cafe kitchen inside.

    Cons

These people lie lie lie and manipulate perception. Don't trust what they say and look at other multiple sources for reviews on this place. I would want my kids to work here. It's that bad.

Committed to maintaining a good image. Went from a less than 3 star rating to a 3.3 in merely 2 days. That takes commitment and "teamwork".

    Cons

Employees have little to no faith in upper management and/or HR. Where are these fake reviews coming from?

Upper management has an "oh well *insert expletive word* happens" attitude at work when discussing staff turnover publicly.

    Pros

Good cause. Good first job out of college.

    Cons

Hiring process and promotions strictly based on favoritism. Very clickish including management. ..team leads have zero moral compass and will do whatever managers adk, no questions asked. If you ask questions you will be humiliated by hearing. Others snicker or pin you against other Co-workers. Every week we receive an email of yet another person leaving the company.

Retain your workforce. Don't make it a personal agenda of who stays and who gets let go.
