    Pros

Good place to work in. Nice People to work with.Beautiful campus. Encouraging supervisor. Supportive coworkers. Feel great to work with professors and students. Good but cheap food.

Not much to me. Health insurance for the research staff can be better. there was no bonus available at the end of year. No clear career path. difficult to be promoted.

    Pros

Great professors and great research environment. All kinds of advanced experimental equipment at hands. All staffs are highly professional.

    Cons

NUS itself is always the best, but still, the campus is a little too small, and weather of Singapore never changes. And, Singlish can be really hard to understand sometimes.

"It is an university combining both Asian and western style of teaching, living and any other things."

    Pros

It is an university combining both Asian and western style of teaching, living and any other things. People from different background, Asian, Europe, middle east, Africa and etc ... can always find some places that are most suitable to themselves. Even in the research environment, both independent research style and family-like research style can stay peacefully together here. English is the official language. But since there are more than 70% Chinese-origin, Chinese is also an universal language.

    Cons

One thing is very uncomfortable. There are too much paper works. Everything should be recorded and reported and checked every year. It wastes too much time.

    Advice to Management

Please do not put too many paper work on the head of researchers.
