I have been working at National Urban League full-time

    Pros

Great people, hard-working and team-spirited with a real devotion to helping the community.

    Cons

Salary is challenging and the resource support outside of the Child Care realm leavesomething to be desired.

    Advice to Management

Would be an ideal situation for developing a nonprofit owned and operated business.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at National Urban League full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I loved working with the community to help make a better life.

    Cons

Employees are more worried about helping themselves then helping the community

    Advice to Management

We are all created EQUAL - and that we should treat each employee by their expertise instead of what race we are from

I worked at National Urban League

    Pros

The Las Vegas Urban League does good work in the community to help the underserved. If you want to make a difference in the lives of people in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas then the Las Vegas Urban League is a good place to work.

    Cons

The Las Vegas Urban League has unneeded bureaucracy. The benefits are not that great and the pay is not that great.

    Advice to Management

Give more and better benefits to employees.
