I worked at National Vision full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent starting pay, pip (1% of of your sales gets added to your paycheck), insurance, paid vacation/holiday,

    Cons

Sales goals, pushing customers (patients) in to buying things they really don't need because of sales goals, lab errors galore (and they count against you when you remake them), poor quality of eyewear both frames and lenses, upper management seems to be clueless, upper management only cares about sales, fluctuating work week, hard to get days off, high budget but low payroll hours available, only seem to care about having a warm body in the store regardless of their lack of optical competency, they just don't seem to care about their employees except for that they show up to work and sell sell sell.
