    Pros

Fun and relaxed atmosphere, they put on a lot of company events, there is career growth, upper management listens to employee concerns and are available to sit down and talk whenever.

    Cons

Compensation could be better. Communication from different departments needs to be better

I have been working at Nationstar Mortgage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Reasonable pay, Provide you with training materials, Company awards/contests, Most managers and supervisors were pretty nice, higher leveled managers were interactive with employees, Café on site.

    Cons

If you have a family...this place will most likely not work as far balancing work and home. Their work schedules are supposed to change monthly or every other month and they said they'll give you a schedule a month ahead but they don't. The schedules changed frequently (every other week) and they only give you a few days notice.

    Advice to Management

Give employees more time when introducing them to a new schedule instead of a couple days.

I worked at Nationstar Mortgage full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay was good. The facility was nice.

    Cons

There are so many! They DO NOT like gay people at all. They hired me to be in Loss Mitigation, but once I started, they started me out in front end collections, which I had over 10 years experience in the industry, I shouldn't have been placed there. Month after month they would lie and say next month they would put me in Loss Mit, never happened. They change your schedule with only a day or 2 notice. There is no bonus in front end collections. They are rude, and speak down to their employees. And this is minimal, but you cant wear t shirts ever, even on Saturdays. This company is ridiculous, they lie to get you in the door because their turn over is so high, and they treat you horribly.

I worked at Nationstar Mortgage as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great staff, decent hours (no weekends except one Saturday per month), and good pay

    Cons

Hostile work environment, micro-micro-management, and poor training programs

    Advice to Management

Don't put your employees under a microscope 24/7. Trust them to be able to do their jobs without close supervision. It makes for a hostile and uncomfortable environment.

    Pros

Teamwork, Helpful Managers, Great Co-workers, Friendly Environment, with lots of potential to grow if you put in the work.

    Cons

Compensation doesn't change even if you get moved to a hire level. I was told before leaving that I would be refunded my unused vacation hours, but never got compensation for it. Not sure if it was due to miscommunication or if the policy just wasn't clear?

    Advice to Management

Incentivize your teams for maximum output.
