    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Native Instruments full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Free drinks, but less benefits than in the "golden era".

    Cons

Too many. Professionals work on details and prepare viable options and strategies, invest themselves for weeks and months- decissions for something totally different is taken within hours by totally detached people. No awarding or rewarding of your effort, quality or achievements.

"The nicest colleagues ever – but technocratic top-level management without any clue about the products and market"

I have been working at Native Instruments full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The nicest colleagues you'll ever meet. Talented, passionate people. A very nice office location. Nice community space with free drinks and a lovely team. A jam room. Company parties used to be cool some years ago, but well.

    Cons

The entire top-level management (minus Mate Galic) consists of people who have no clue whatsoever about the actual market the company is in – and hence no clue about the products either. Also, it has recently been staffed up with like-minded technocrats who claim to be "gurus" or "champions" – and again have no clue about the actual customer (or the company's actual people and processes). It feels like a bunch of expensive consultants running the company because they think music is cool. The other reviews here are nailing it. That's how it is.

I have been working at Native Instruments full-time

    Pros

    - opportunity to contribute to cool products - sometimes cool summer parties - nice discounts on gear (not only NI) - nice free drinks, good coffee

    Cons

    - dirty talks behind your back happen frequently - broken waterfall, strong command and execute approach - top managers fight between them and enjoy being feared by subordinates. - doesn't hesitate to lay off people to look good on paper, happened already a couple of times

I worked at Native Instruments for less than a year

    Pros

Interesting Tasks, own projects, fair discount on all products for yourself and also for family & friends, super nice colleagues and beautiful offices with free drinks, fruits and cereal and coffee.

    Cons

The UI design team is seperated from the product design team and the developers what makes communication sometimes a little bit tricky.
