I worked at Nature's Sunshine full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, learn about health and how to improve it. The company lives what is preached.

    Cons

The only con is that I can't think of any!

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up.

    Pros

Good pay, good coworkers. decent benefits. yearly raises (approx 2-3%)

    Cons

The company is so focused on saving every penny possible it is overlooking the value of their employees. They assign so many tasks in addition to daily work it is impossible to get it all done. They are short staffed and wont hire more people so you feel like you cant use any PTO (paid time off) because you will get to far behind or feel guilty your coworker will have to cover it all for you and work late. One hire up said "you work them to the bone then replace them!"

    Advice to Management

Realize employees are your greatest asset. If you want to grow to a billion dollar company you will have to hire more people to support the growth and not burn out all your current employees. Stop saving pennies in one department and costing dollars in another.

I worked at Nature's Sunshine (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great salary and benefits. Great location with good freeway access.

    Cons

This is the most boring, mentally unchallenging job I have ever had. The upper management might stay busy but they like to micro manage and control everything. They ask for employees to have passion for a company with no passion in it. The agents are on social media all day and take maybe 25 calls a day as well.

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to what people are saying. If someone is questioning you, it is not always bad and you don't need to go on an offensive strike with people. Delegate tasks if there are any to delegate which seems unlikely given the monotonous, boring environment.

I worked at Nature's Sunshine (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed the positive atmosphere and the simplicity of the job! Everyone was very fun and it was easy to talk to customers on the phone since it was an inbound job

    Cons

Some of the cons would be perhaps the monotony of the job. Although the people were nice and the overall company is great, the call floor can get a bit repetitive and boring at times

I have been working at Nature's Sunshine full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

People who work here are diligent, friendly, happy and nice to each other. That makes the work place very easy to spend your 8+ hours a day. Company also provides very good benefit for health care.

    Cons

I cannot think of any problem with the company except just one very personal problem about computer technology they decided to use recently. Not important for well-being of most of workers and not affecting the good growth of the company.

I have been working at Nature's Sunshine full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

good internal hiring practices, pay is decent. Products are better than most of their competition

    Cons

good internal hiring practices but upper management does not listen to employees or customer needs.

    Advice to Management

The internal politics are ruining morale. Many of your products lack scientific validation, clean house and concentrate on the few products that are valid

I worked at Nature's Sunshine part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful involved and unbiased management. Respectful and understanding and easy to work with with difficulties in the job, they are very encouraging an always willing to invest in helping you become better at your job.

    Cons

Typical call center problems, where in this case non of the cons came from the company but from the nature of inbound calls and the many many people you talk with. The company is great but doing orders/customer service has its own inherent dificulties.

    Advice to Management

Keep on keeping on, you guys are a real treasure
