    Pros

Good benefits if you can get hired on.

    Cons

Hard to get hired on permanently. Management only cares about the bottom line and will manipulate numbers and information to meet goals.

    Pros

It has been a great environment to work in. I have many good friends there.

    Cons

I feel like the upper management doesn't know what they are doing, and are making mistakes that will eventually take the company down.

    Advice to Management

Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

I have been working at Nature's Sunshine full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice and sincere people to work with. Good benefits. Have a lot of expertise, people tend to stay around for a while.

    Cons

Old-school approach to management and style. Tend too much on managing margins and returns, limited growth of the company. Recent IT project failure have delay growth of the company, should have more fore-sight into the impact of the project before going live.

    Advice to Management

limiting and cutting cost is great, but will not get the company too far. Need to make right decision based on the impact and fore-sight. Suggested reading Harvard Business Review - Hidden Traps of Decision Making.

    Pros

Great company with fun people to work with. Believe in the products and they have a great system in the labs.

    Cons

Work load too much. Not compensated for how much work is required of you. Not enough people in the labs

    Pros

Good pay, good coworkers. decent benefits. yearly raises (approx 2-3%)

    Cons

The company is so focused on saving every penny possible it is overlooking the value of their employees. They assign so many tasks in addition to daily work it is impossible to get it all done. They are short staffed and wont hire more people so you feel like you cant use any PTO (paid time off) because you will get to far behind or feel guilty your coworker will have to cover it all for you and work late. One hire up said "you work them to the bone then replace them!"

    Advice to Management

Realize employees are your greatest asset. If you want to grow to a billion dollar company you will have to hire more people to support the growth and not burn out all your current employees. Stop saving pennies in one department and costing dollars in another.

I worked at Nature's Sunshine (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great salary and benefits. Great location with good freeway access.

    Cons

This is the most boring, mentally unchallenging job I have ever had. The upper management might stay busy but they like to micro manage and control everything. They ask for employees to have passion for a company with no passion in it. The agents are on social media all day and take maybe 25 calls a day as well.

    Advice to Management

Learn to listen to what people are saying. If someone is questioning you, it is not always bad and you don't need to go on an offensive strike with people. Delegate tasks if there are any to delegate which seems unlikely given the monotonous, boring environment.
