I worked at Nautica Enterprises part-time

    Pros

It was really easy to learn simple folding techniques and my co workers were very helpful and friendly. This was also my first job and I got hired within a week.

    Cons

The customers were all very rude and mostly spoke either espanol or portuguese. It was hard communicating and the managers weren't very kind or helpful and they bickered a lot.

    Pros

Was able to experience a lot of different aspects of retail. I wasn't confined to one position or job role. Pretty flexible with time off

    Cons

Higher management has no accountability and can pretty much do as they please...was verbally abused and nothing ever came out of complaints filed.

I worked at Nautica Enterprises part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The hours were very flexible with good pay. Great work life balance. This was a seasonal position so the extra cash came in handy around the holidays!

    Cons

Having to travel to different stores within a specified area could be a little bothersome at times. Also having to submit your hours via fax is a little outdated.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing a great job!

There's some room for growth, but not much within your position.
Senior Management are nice people to work with overall.

I worked at Nautica Enterprises part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Discount is nice 40% off
Discount on all VF corporation products
    Lots of hours
    Good managers
Majority of customers are not that bad.

    Cons

    It's retail...
    Bad customers
No commission- I don't care if I sell because I don't get anything from doing great or horrible
    Extremely boring and repetitive
    Minimum wage
The music (holy hell is it bad)

    Advice to Management

Change the music ASAP.. Also start implementing a commission based system because the current way no one cares if the company is doing well or not. For the love of god stop making us change around the clothing location! It makes no sense, it helps NO ONE.
