I have been working at Naviga full-time

    Pros

The company provides great insight to the recruiting industry and best practices.
    Very skilled employees and leaders
Very passionate and hungry leaders and employees
Super fun environment & team - great company culture
Christmas dinners, random lunches and breakfasts, bonus opportunities everywhere
Training is absolutely provided but not in a micro manage way, more of teaching by experience
Trust is earned, not given freely
The CEO and President really care about their employees, take care of them and respect them but it goes both ways.
So much business, and so much work to do.
Opportunity to make good money is here, but you have to be willing to take the coaching, work later and sometimes on weekends (recruiters)
If you're looking for a typical 9-5, laid back job, this definitely isn't it.

    Cons

Can't think of anything major to post here.

    Advice to Management

Keep your culture fun and family-like.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Friendly work environment, really great CEO to work for, the Steffeys are extremely generous, thoughtful, and kind people. Feels like a small close nit family.

    Cons

Work was disengaging and monotonous a lot of the time.

    Advice to Management

Create more challenging and engaging tasks for interns.

I worked at Naviga full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It is a small company, so you are not just a number waiting to be noticed. The Steffey's are very passionate about the company and what they do.

This might be a good place for someone who is just starting their career, although there is not a lot training, except for telling you "awkward is good" over and over.

    Cons

The Steffey's are very passionate about the company and what they do so that it clouds their level of trust in their employees. Everything that you do and every decision that you make here is micromanaged and has to go through one of them. One of the pro's was that you are not just a number waiting to be noticed and the con of that, is that there is no real advancement. If you want to put your blood, sweat and tears into a company that does well, but will never do better than this is the place to be.

    -No health insurance provided.
-minimum wage, and takes a long time to get paid commission on placements

I don't mind working long hours, but I worked my 40 hours a week and went home, because I couldn't stand to drag myself into this place early or stay late every day.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees, give them a little space to be who they are. Recruiters are not meant to be fenced it, they do their best when left to their own devices.

Stop sticking up for the clients so much, and listen to your recruiters. The client is not always right and sometimes you have to have your recruiters backs.

Need to focus more on quality of candidates as opposed to quantity.

    Pros

I'm proud to be an employee of Naviga Business Service because they offer one of the best opportunities for career growth in the field of sales recruitment. The salary is good and one receives the necessary recognition for their work.

    Cons

No, there is not anything I could complain about. There are some companies that do not respect their employees but this is not true for Naviga Business Service. The management is really understanding and supportive.

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Endless learning and exposure to the greatest strategies used in recruiting. High integrity company with the best intentions.

    Cons

Remote staff members do have a disadvantage when it comes to the decisions behind the strategic direction of the company. However, if someone is determined and very proactive, they can have a foot print.

I have been working at Naviga full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Entry level offers a great learning environment for someone with no experience. They worked hard to try to build a close, fun environment. Already established, successful recruiters seem to be quite successful from a contractor standpoint.

    Cons

They pay is also entry level, perhaps a little under. No real opportunity for advancement, high turnover. Lots of work, can be monotonous at times. Every decision has to go through the owners... Every one.
