    Pros

    Mostly good people.
Decent office in a decent area.
    Standard benefits.

    Cons

    Office politics are bad
Re-org with new CEO in place is trying hard, but missing some key items
Navis used to be a standalone company and is now a pea in a pod

I worked at Navis LLC full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Progressive, Young, with lots of opportunity to see the world.
Very well compensated if you are willing to give up your work/life balance.

    Cons

Limited career advancement. Management is hired from outside the company and rarely do they promote from within.
Greed is rampant at Navis. The company has been very profitable but since being acquired a couple times by larger organizations, there is a quarterly push to continually outperform the past quarters. This is somewhat understandable, seeing as it is publicly owned, but employees are encouraged to bill a lot of hours to the clients and bonuses are tied to this.
Over the past few years, some bad seeds have found their way into senior/executive management and have introduced a hostile work environment and regular finger-pointing.

    Advice to Management

Revamp executive and senior management team. Look at the departments with large turn-overs and a defensive behavior and finally realize that it trickles down from upper management.

    Advice to Management

Make the new agile processes work by focusing the remaining management 100% on this task. Don't take too long to get people engaged in their new jobs.
