I have been working at Naylor Association Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The company has finally gotten over some acquisition hurdles and now has great projects in the works. For those who are ambitious, there is lots of opportunity to make your mark. For office locations where traffic is bad, many positions offer a day of work from home. The company understands its employees have family to take care of and is conducive to flexible schedules and not expecting staff to always work late. Good work life balance.

    Cons

Change is prevalent, but can take a while to happen. Management doesn't like to move a quickly as you would hope sometimes so be patient.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Naylor Association Solutions full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Naylor gives you every single piece of information to help you succeed. Great training and development thereafter. Do you have a good work ethic? Can you develop a killer sales mentality? Do you have what it takes to admit your faults and be coached? If you do, come to work here.

    Cons

This is a SALES organization. You MUST have good work ethic. Laziness does not cut it here. Yes, it can be difficult at times, sales is not an easy role. Its not glamorous either. However, if you are willing to put the effort forth you will reap the rewards.

I have been working at Naylor Association Solutions full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

I really like working at Naylor. They are a big enough company to be able to implement your ideas but small enough that they'll listen. I have found that the management cares about my growth potential and I feel like I have grown as a professional and in my career since having worked here. The company culture is excellent and they really care about you and your progress.

    Cons

At Naylor change is a constant. It can be a fast paced business and so the company is often having to adapt.

I worked at Naylor Association Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Your odds of being the biggest train wreck in the office are slim when compared to most of these people.

    Cons

This is one of the biggest shams in Gainesville, Florida. They sell this "work hard play hard" mentality when in reality it's mantra is lie to clients and promote being an awful person. This organization is comprised of people with criminal records that have nowhere else to go, and those who are respectable/have any modicum of self-respect leave within months. You are treated like a number, micromanaged by coaches who do nothing but tape your calls and gossip about you and your colleagues.

    Naylor Association Solutions Response

    May 22, 2017Group Vice President

I’m surprised by your feedback. Our sales professional’s role is to assist our advertisers in purchasing advertising appropriate to their business goals and objectives. Our most successful sale people employ a consultative approach to help our advertisers. Lying to our customers is not acceptable behavior at all in our business. We are an extension of the associations we represent. Your statement with respect to people with criminal records is factually incorrect. We are fully committed to our core values at Naylor, which include but are not limited to honesty and integrity, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Our management team values open communication and feedback and we are committed to ongoing improvement. I wish you much success in all of your future endeavors.

    Pros

You can make more money at this company then almost anywhere else in the Gainesville area. You keep your renewals each year and continue to build relationships with your clients and associations that you work with. There are wonderful people here that become family. I've never had to miss events with my children. The company wants you to have a great work/life balance. Getting off at 5pm and not working weekends and making over 6 figures a year is amazing!

    Cons

You have to work to make the money. You cannot sit at your desk hoping things will fall into your lap, you have to work for it. You have the same drama come up that you would have at any other company.

    Pros

Naylor has good earning and growth potential. It can be an interesting and challenging place to work as well. People are truly willing to help, and the resources are there for any employee to grow professionally. Employees have the opportunity to learn about different industries, and be a part of helping businesses realize their own goals by engaging with a multitude of target markets.

    Cons

It's sales, so it's hard work. If you are not willing to challenge yourself and stretch your limits, both personally and professionally, you may be better off finding another career. Success is not effortless at Naylor, but it is rewarding.

I worked at Naylor Association Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good people and it was interesting to learn about the the roles that associations play in any particular industry.

    Cons

Work is incredibly repetitive (even for a sales gig) and you're not given much of an opportunity as a new rep. There is also no question that middle management has its favorites. If you don't get off to a good start, they will start giving you junk territory/projects that makes it nearly impossible to climb out of the hole. Company ran into big money troubles over the Summer of 2016 and laid off over 40 people out of the blue. The CFO was making huge mistakes with accounts payable for months and it led to a lot of association not receiving their payments. The company appeared to try and hide this for awhile too. They went through a huge sales rep hiring spree and fired the CFO halfway through it after finding out about the mess, but instead of doing a hiring freeze they kept adding on sales reps despite knowing about the money issues. Most of the reps remaining under two years are looking for other opportunities b/c senior management is incompetent, uncaring and will lie straight to your face.
