    Pros

You get to work with children and build positive relationships. The best part of my day was making a child smile because he saw that someone cared.

    Cons

Management was very unorganized and no one was on the same page. Also some of my coworkers were unkept and there are not high standards set for employees.

    Advice to Management

This has the potential to be a great place but you are to concerned about making money and maintaining appearances for the higher ups.

I worked at Necco full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some terrific nostalgic brands although these brands are tired and struggling. No significant innovation in sight.

    Cons

The overall culture is one of resistance to change and continuation of operating in the same manner that has driven revenue declines for 5+ consecutive years.

    Advice to Management

Maximize operational and production strengths. One dimensional CFO is systematically choking the company.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Necco full-time

    Pros

Good benefits, work directly with corporate management.

    Cons

Owned by an investment company, poor pay, lack or technology upgrades.

    Advice to Management

Upgrade the company to an advanced technological level. The company is stuck in the 19th century and most things are still done by hand including by not limited to packaging and work orders.

    Advice to Management

Get new management. HR dept cfo local does not commute to Florida on the company

had to move out of state so had to leave

    Advice to Management

don't let 'old necco" sink new necco

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Necco full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Resigning.
I think the culture's even gotten worse, (which is hard to believe considering), under the new, highly-paid, part-time working"leadership" team.

    Cons

Senior "Leaders" are not effective": goes to show paying outrageous salaries isn't the answer to commitment or effectiveness.

    Advice to Management

Move to MA. You can't act like you care when you don't care enough to move near where you work. Stop kidding yourselves .
