    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Neighborhood Health for more than 2 years

    Pros

Good benefits and vacation. Great co-workers and flexibility in work environment.

    Cons

Set schedule. Occasionally high turnover in some positions making it difficult to have set protocols.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in staff development and appreciation. Work to understand the root of problems instead of hiring new staff.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Neighborhood Health full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

I learned such a great amount of experience with UNHS. Working for a non-profit is a great deal because you see how hard the staff at the clinics work and how humble they are with all patients

    Cons

New administration brought changes that weren't actually suitable for everyone. Many staff that were great left unfortunately. New CEO believed those who likes gossips and that's unfortunate.

    Advice to Management

Please put attention to the problematic people that starts the fuel and makes the rest uncomfortable. Gossips are inevitable but can be stop if you guys do the right thing. I have seeing people that were great for the company fired because you decided to believe those gossips. Give people second chances we all make mistakes and one day one of you in the administration team will do so as well. Lead by example and be...

I have been working at Neighborhood Health full-time

    Pros

Its nice to have a job to be able to serve the community.

    Cons

Lousy pay; rude boss; the location of some of the clinics

    Advice to Management

Need to learn how to talk to your employees without belittling them

I worked at Neighborhood Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good health benefits, holidays off, PTO was okay

    Cons

Sick time was terrible, pay was terrible , they don't pay you for your experience or education, CEO & COO need to retire or do something else in life. If you are a man you have to watch your back there, centers you work at are in dangerous areas. raises are basically 25 cents more an hour, high turnover rate

    Advice to Management

    CEO/ COO need to retire

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Neighborhood Health full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

If you want a slacker job where most of the management do not work one minute more than 40 hours, then this is the job for you!

    Cons

The culture is a complete top down mentality. No one is credited with their good ideas, until the CEO comes up with the idea.

    Advice to Management

Go work somewhere else and see what the real world is like.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Neighborhood Health full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

The clinic staff. They are underpaid, and treated badly by administration. Admin does not care about employees..only themselves. Admin motto is "if they don't like it somebody else will take their job"

    Cons

The administration. CEO needs to retire, but doesn't trust anybody in the leadership to take over. They have a HR person who has no experience or talent for the position. She is CEO hired gun. HR has cost more money to the company so there is no money or bonus or raises for staff unless it i for the Admin Staff.

    Advice to Management

Get a new CEO, COO and HR. THe others are great. but those 3 need to go!
