    I worked at Nellson full-time

    Pros

Nice facility, toxic slave mill work environment.

    Cons

If you have a career and are trying to learn, thrive, and grow do not take a job with this company. Compensation that seems decent at first will have you doing the work of 2-3-4 people.

Cruel attitudes from some unstable individuals in the office coupled with excessive lying, and two-facedness (some even derived from mgmt) make for a very toxic, mentally exhausting work environment.

Not only departmental but company wide issues.  Alot of incompetence through out, departments are not in alignment and no basic procedures in place. Any changes that are suggested are not supported by management and its simply put organized chaos.

I urge you before considering taking a position to read all the reviews across the multiple employment/review sites and you will see a common theme repeated with this company.

I worked at Nellson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I have nothing positive to say about Nellson.

    Cons

This company is a very Toxic place to work for. Nellson needs to clean house and hire a Human Resources dept that cares for the employees. It's unfortunate that everyone avoids going into the HR office at all cost. Poor communication and any issues that you might have never get resolved. It's very clear that HR has no desire to help employees and are not for the people nor do they care about you as a person.

    Advice to Management

Management at Nellson is horrible as well. They only worry about budgets and have no regard for the employees. They will throw employees under the bus and will lie right to your face. There is a lack of communication and a disconnect between manager and employee. They dont believe in a open door policy. The managers at Nellson need to get more training on how to become better managers and how to treat employees with respect.

I would not recommend Nellson to anyone.

Dont waste your time nor your talent with this company.

I worked at Nellson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can learn a lot about what NOT to do

    Cons

Owned by a PE firm whose main objective is only making money. No social responsibility. Employees are treated disrespectful and have no voice when they have an issue. HR department is unprofessional and rude. The culture is every man for themselves and toxic environment. Highly recommend to look elsewhere!!!

    Advice to Management

    Karma is REAL....

I worked at Nellson full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It is a pretty easy job to get. Require drug test and you’re basically working the next day. Lots of hours.

    Cons

It is a low skill job so you will be doing manual work. It is not hard at all but just repetitive. A lot of Hispanic workers, which is not a bad thing, but you’ll have to find people that speak English.

    Advice to Management

    Need to be better organized.

    Pros

A lot of opportunity is given to move up in the company.

    Cons

HR only cares about their budget, and does not do whatever it takes to keep strong performers. Because of that our talent is moving on quickly and turnover is high.

    Advice to Management

    Work on your hiring process.
