    They have moved to a more cooperate mindset. They are more concerned with cost savings and processes. Moving forward but not whats best for customer

    Pros

    They really try hard to be employee focused. They are communicative with their employees, they try to have fun, and employees seem to be happy doing what they do.

    Cons

    Try as they might, they are a long way from being customer focused. Their processes and systems get in their way. They also lack quality training - their few trainers are stellar but they do not invest in quality training programs. Their corporate headquarters does not have a new hire training program or training room.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees more than every 2 years when the engagement surveys come out. Our customers are hurting because of our processes. We like our day-to-day jobs, but we are suffering when we cannot help our customers.

    I have been working at Neopost full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Been with Neopost since 2008. Great company to work for with generous pay. It is salary plus commission, so the best and worst of the job is that you are on your own. If you stay diligent and make the calls, you will be rewarded. Seems that most who fail have problems with time management. Benefits are good, and good local support.

    Cons

    Like any big corporation, there are some issues with layers outside of the District, however when problems are identified, the support to resolve at all levels is very good.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to allow more decision making at the local level as we are the ones who are face to face with customers daily. Would recommend that corporate managers spend more time in the field with sales team to keep perspective fresh.

    Great Culture

    Nice Work Environment

    Cons

    Lack of Internal Support from Management. Executive shift in 2015 positioned the account managers to be as successful as the Dallas Cowboys that year.

    No solid training, no solid plan on how to build business. Just told to "go door to door" to find business which was not communicated during interview.

    Pros

    Neopost is very supportive of their employees. I think we here at Great Plains are very well treated. I have been here a little over a year and I still have questions. They are very willing to help and not have the attitude that I should already know this.

    Cons

    When I started the training was not so good. I had to do an Outlook invite to get the person that was training me to come and sit with me. We just had a new employee start in May. The job that they are doing was done from someone at one of our other offices and they have only been here once. It has been learning by fire for that person.

    Advice to Management

    To get a better training program.

    Pros

    They rent very nice offices

    Cons

    Sales-- you will be axed after 4 months if you are not at $30k per month sales with an average sale at $2k. Do the math. Expect to work from 8am to 10pm with lunch and dinner breaks and also put in 6-12 hours on weekends.

    Advice to Management

    Carpet bagging French company pays US sales $11/hr base so their French and German and UK people can take 6 week vacations, work 30 hours a week, etc. In an industry--mailing that is dropping like a Stone.

    Pros

    -Good money if you are selling
    -Good benefits

    Cons

    -Terrible leadership
    -No training, or extremely inadequate training
    -Poor management
    -Unstable market (currently)

    Advice to Management

    Sales people are not motivated by intimidation techniques, they need positive feedback and encouragement. If a company treats you right you will want to work for them and the turnover rate will drastically reduce.

    Pros

    Neopost has a really fun culture and treats all employees with resepect. The Senior Management has a good vision for the company and explains that vision to all workers. I think they really care about the people they have working for them. Even though salaries are not the best, Neopost knows the importance of family life and promotes all employees to have a good work life balance.

    They need to put more focus on training new employees.

    Need to spend more time matching the right people to jobs
