I worked at Neopost full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

paid time off, flexible working schedule can be worked out with employer if needed, decent benefits

    Cons

it's sad when you told your "manager" how to do his/her job for several years. expected to accomplish work of 3-4 people, alone, within the normal 8 hour work day with no OT. Constantly correcting and fixing others mistakes which were brought to upper management (as directed) yet never a single resolution. Coworkers very gossipy (mostly females) and loved to start drama just for the fun of it. Also, office enviornment had very poor air quality where many inner office employees were constantly coughing, sneezing, and sick. Issues all brought to management, yet again, with zero resolution. Management always spread personal/confidential issues around to other office staff (no privacy or respect).

    Advice to Management

From what I heard several managers/upper management were let go/left all at the same time.....wonder why??!!

I worked at Neopost (More than a year)

    Pros

Unfortunately the only positive is the product offering is not bad.

    Cons

A declining industry with no strategy to move forward from a transactional sales company to a solutions provider. Too much favoritism, opportunities are not equally shared. A divided feckless management structure with no clue how to develop new solution driven opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Clean house and start all over. The current leadership is old and lacks true vision.

I have been working at Neopost full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good 401k and insurance. Home office.

    Cons

3 different managers in less than a year. The latest manager is not even from the industry and refuses to learn so can't help. Only does ride days with his reps, but doesn't bring anything to the table when riding. Just takes up space. Have to go to other managers for help/advice.

    Advice to Management

Retire. Make your managers learn so they can help their team.

Can make some money at NAE position or above, Lots of freedom, Some nice people, Big territory, Good bonuses

    Cons

Poor training, bad revenue splitting policies, lots of favortism, run like a "mom and pop" in a bad way, disconnect between corporate and dealer network, poor pricing support, management may ask you to be unethical, road warrior position, poor work/life balance, CRM cluttered/unorganized, and some reps will not hesitate to snake your accounts.

    Advice to Management

Invest in employees, Do away with ASE position altogether, get rid of revenue/commission splits, pay commissions on time rather than on a 2 month delay, and have better communication between corporate and the dealer network.
