    Pros

I have been working at Nesco Resource full-time

    Pros

    * They can find you a job quick.

    Cons

*The staff are sweet and responsive to you before you apply to their agency and when you're in the office going through the application and paperwork process. Once you've signed the paperwork and are placed into a job, they don't care about you. It'll suddenly be difficult to get in contact with anyone. You get the sense that you're just a number and pay cut to them.

    * Paycheck errors. Keep track of your own hours worked because they will short you.

    Advice to Management

Pay your temps accurately and in a timely manner.

I worked at Nesco Resource full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Reasonable pay, quick commission pay outs.

    Cons

Management is a club of unskilled people and promotions are based entirely on nepotism. You don't even start accruing vacation time for 3 months. You need to take a day off, they expect it to be a payroll deduction for exempt employees.

    Advice to Management

Blow the whole thing up and start from scratch.

    Pros

    Decent PTO. That's about it.

    Cons

Numerous cons. Toxic work culture, upper manager is awful to branch level staff. Deceitful behavior.

    Advice to Management

Remove toxic upper management and develop branch level managers more, invest and respect your people.

Fantastic place to work. Smart team, realistic goals, highly experienced recruiters. Mid and Upper management have a a pulse on varying job markets and trends.

Everyone can improve and Nesco constantly is. No need to mention Cons as they are all likely going to be improved except maybe employee benefits and perks

    Advice to Management

improve on benefits and perks but otherwise, when it comes to management, business model and operations- great job!

I worked at Nesco Resource full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pretty fair time off and vacation policy.

    Cons

NESCO was by far the worst company I have ever worked for. The environment as a whole and the way their employees are treated is terrible. The company makes millions of dollars a year but still has paper applications. This puts such a burden on its recruiters to do filing and paperwork etc. and still complete all the necessary metrics. There is no training program but an expectation to do everything correctly despite not having been taught policies or even how to use software. There is no communication and if you have any issues you have to figure out who to go to on your own but if you go to HR or upper Management be prepared to suffer the consequences. I recently left this company and my stress level has dropped dramatically. I would no ever recommend this company to anyone including temporary employees. Go somewhere where you matter.

    Advice to Management

Train, develop and care about your employees because they are what makes the company.
