I have been working at Nespresso full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work-life balance is great, just communicate with your upper management on when you need time off and they do their best to accommodate! Pay is nice, with compensated public transit monthly pass (full time), health benefits are really second to none, uniforms get dry cleaned for you, and the people you meet within and outside the company is a great way to create a strong network

    Cons

Holidays get very busy, that's really the only thing I can think of

I have been working at Nespresso full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fairly compensated, really great benefits, and being part of a larger organization.

    Cons

Communication, internal organization and infrastructure can be a bit wobbly at times.

    Advice to Management

Send out more surveys, and listen to the people who are customer facing. Have a more streamlined communication between all your channels.

I have been working at Nespresso full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -Flexible hours
    -Good benefits
    -Good environment
    -Somewhat classy
    -Moral company

    Cons

-Branch/Store management styles can greatly change your view of your job (for better or for worse)
-Sometimes gets repetitive on busy days (what retail isn't?)

    Advice to Management

Try to "feel" the vibe of the store in general. Try to "go with the flow" and understand how things are usually done. You can't stop a flowing river, but you can redirect it. This job is very social and team based, so going that extra mile for your team to feel like a family will reap noticeable rewards (socially and financially).

I worked at Nespresso part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-Loved my coworkers. Only reason i stayed for as long as i did.
    -Enjoyed the coffee
    - A good way to push yourself at sales and see if you’d be good at something bigger.

    Cons

    - Technology is always busted. This causes distress for the customer and the employee. We, the management and the specialists, are the ones who think around it. We make do for months, until the company finally realizes there might be a problem.
    - This is still a retail/food service job. So of course work/life balance isn’t that great.
    - Management disagreements. Whether its corporate or just in your own store, sometimes one manager is saying to do something while the other disagrees. Meanwhile, the company is constantly changing its mind about when to release things or how it wants to do promos.
    - Understaffed. Understaffed. Understaffed.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your store managers, your team leads, your coffee specialists. If something isn’t working, they need help. Stop just glossing things over. Things are sometimes so busted that the customer can tell and see, and that’s no good.

I have been working at Nespresso full-time

    Pros

Free coffee machine and quarterly store credits

    Cons

Pay, management, no work life balance what so ever. Management is a complete joke and have absolutely NO interest or care into your personal growth in the company. Favoritism and nepotism are the only ways to move up in this company. Do not waste your time applying for a position within the Boutiques and call center. You can try for the corp offices but like I said if you dont have connections you wont get hired. They open positions online to act like they're looking to hire but they're not interested as they already know and have the person they want in the position. They just try to save face

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the managers in the call center. Get rid of the old upper-management as they are extremely disconnected to the real life experiences of their employees
