    Cons

Horrible management, horrible cut-throat culture, favoritism, and pretentiousness. Limited opportunity to move up. No work life balance. Extremely flawed feedback and performance evaluation process.

  2. "Great company! Nestle Freehold is just very unorganized and needs a total redo of upper management."

I worked at Nestlé full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Co-workers are great and flexible with work day.

    Cons

Work-life balance. There is too much work and not enough support.

    Advice to Management

Get organized and treat workers, hourly and salaried, better! A 12 hour day for a salaried worker should not be the normal!

    Pros

    Employee Recognition program
    Good starter job
    Health benefits

    Cons

    Extremely micro-managed
    Absolutely NO room for growth
    Lack of engagement from upper-management

    Advice to Management

View and treat your employees as valuable contributors to the company & empower them rather than try to manage using fear of losing your job as a motivational tool.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Management does try to communicate with all employees consistently.

    Cons

Management in constant meetings, no promotions for factor employees to a corporate level, always hire management from other sites or outside. Spend all my time covering my rump due to constant back-pedaling by management.

    Advice to Management

    Start fresh.

I worked at Nestlé full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    They have good benefits products.

    Cons

As they get bigger they take lower pay and increase hours of their employees. Long hours and working on the weekend are often mandatory, especially when you start.

    I worked at Nestlé full-time

    Pros

Good stability and benefits. Overall people are good to work with. Prepared business is finally turning around after years of poor performance.

    Cons

Company is no longer focused on the safety of it's people and the quality of their products. I guess that is why the consumer complaint rate continues to have a negative trend. They also no longer are concerned with truly developing people. Only focus is the short term results.

    Advice to Management

Focus on long term stability and the development of the people that work for you. Doing this will improve the quality results.

I have been working at Nestlé full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pension, Company Store, Free food time to time

New management team is trying hard to turn the culture in a positive direction

    Cons

    Zero work-life balance

Fear and intimidation. Example: "if you don't pass this audit coming up in a few months you could very well be terminated..."

Many of the programs that get Nestle recognition are not rolled-out at the factory.

Culture and morale of employees is not good, not good at all, which is unfortunate. Employees voted a Union (USW) in to represent them.
