    Pros

    -Nice people
-products make a difference in people's lives
-job opportunities for people willing to be "yes" men and women

    Cons

-products are perceived as a commodity in the market
-unrealistic view by management of how products are perceived and unrealistic expectations of sales force
-can not consistently compete on price
-new management making changes to do things differently without having facts or data to back up the changes

    Advice to Management

Do real market research vs home grown analytics to guide your business. Understand who you are and who you are not (pharma).

    Pros

It was a great company to work for with great benefits till Kraft sold it to nestle

    Cons

Kraft pizza company sold out to Nestle lost vacation time due to sell of company. 401k plan sucked

    Advice to Management

Don't let a ice cream company run a great pizza company in the ground.

I worked at Nestlé full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nestle Brasil is a very respectful company in Brasil and the top 3 biggest F&B company. It promotes a lot of growth opportunities and challenges.

    Cons

I believe the same of big companies, nothing special. Sometimes they value too much the short term and compromise the long term brand building.

    Advice to Management

Nestle Brasil is a huge company so you have to be prepared to deal with too many people and a lot of processes, with makes the company a bt slow...

I worked at Nestlé full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Wage and bonus and the occasional 8hour workday, benefits. Can't beat the money for making cat food.

    Cons

12 hrs a day without notice till day of sometimes 5 minutes before punching out. Mandatory 12 work days in a row, 2 days off then 12 days in a row most days being 12hrs. 3/4 of people unbearable to work with due to hours worked "walking zombies". No family life at all, a lot of divorced people. Good place to make money but no life. Work 12 hrs then be forced to be back to work 7 hrs an 54 minutes later to punch in for another 12 hrs even with a union. Stressful atmosphere all around. I do not recommend unless you have no choice .

    Advice to Management

Don't work the people to death. Mandatory 12 hour days, 12 days in a row twice a month is to much. To much favoritism and misleading information. Hire a few more people to cut down mandatory 12 hrs shifts. Employee goes on vacation and the 2 other operators have to cover 4 hours each of persons shift.

I have been working at Nestlé (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nestle as a worldwide company has Great benefits, lots of opportunity for advancement, opportunity for community involvement and much more

    Cons

The Indianapolis location must be the worse case example for Nestle. Poor management, forgotten by HR, only chances for advancement is if you are in the "in crowd", no personal annual raises only market analysis which can mean that a person that has worked for 4 months can make the same as someone who has been there for 3 years.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees fairly conduct business at this location just like any other Nestle facility.

    I worked at Nestlé full-time

    Pros

decent pay, good boss team players

    Cons

After having great job performance, excellent work attendance and good driving record., I lost my job for talking on the phone. I was talking about a issue with my boss and Dot gave me a written warning. Company didn't give ME a warning!

    Advice to Management

A loyal and competent employee is hard to find. At least give them a break on the first mistake.
