    Pros

Big name company and the health benefits are pretty good. Good recognition program and overall a fairly stable company. Promotes work life balance.

    Cons

The company has lost its vision. All the senior management does is cut costs and they have forgotten to invest in their brands.

I have been working at Nestlé USA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits. Lots of paid time off if you stick around for a long time. Really great people who are giving everything they've got.

    Cons

With the Glendale, CA facility closing and major reorganizations in other parts of the company, everything is in complete chaos. No decisions are being made. People have been told the title of their new job but not what their actual responsibilities are. The next 18 months until the Virginia facility is fully staffed will be utter hell as the company will be understaffed and then trying to do knowledge transfer to the droves of new people in Virginia. I'm only hanging around because I'm close to retirement. If you see other positive reviews, that person must be living in a bubble.

    Advice to Management

Management basically feels that the company is so broken that the only way to innovate is to move the company so that most of the Glendale employees will leave & they can "upgrade the talent". Too bad they are unwilling to give employees technology from the current decade. Too bad that they've cut headcount so low that everyone is exhausted & burnt out. The CEO is salivating with the hope of being invited to the White House. I count the weeks until I can take my cash & bail.

I have been working at Nestlé USA full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible timings from Factory Engineer (Engineering Manager)
    Good Pay
    Good PTO policy
    Big company

    Cons

Highly stressful (especially for a candy factory)
    Unprofessional
    Unionized
Apparently, you have to threated to quit before getting a promotion in the factory
Managers are unsure of how to handle challenging situations and end up stressing everyone
Big company so lots of paper work and useless bureaucracy

    Advice to Management

Dishing out money can only keep individuals around for so long. Reducing stress levels and sticking to one direction will do wonders.

It is concerning when you hear comments such as "This place will make you age quicker than usual", and "people bet on how long someone will stick around".

I have been working at Nestlé USA full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nice building, free parking starting 2 years ago, company store, nice dining center, 2 free days in employee donates equivalent to 1 full day to charity

    Cons

Challenging technology; complicated processes, too many silos, not so much of a flat organization, not much opportunities available to the older employees,

    Advice to Management

In certain business areas, management needs to walk the talk.
