I worked at Nestlé Waters North America (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pay, good benefits, great professionals

    Cons

While there are many good things about working with Nestle, the production teams are rife with drama queens and a few bullies to boot. Those in professional positions are professionals while those in production are far from it.

    Advice to Management

If there is time for drama and rumors in a fast paced production environment then there is time for better focus skills to be implemented.

I have been working at Nestlé Waters North America full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Expectations clearly defined. Work/life balance is easily managed. Supervision at this level is hands-off. I enjoy total autonomy.

    Cons

Technology is decades behind. All numerical focus is on new business - no thought to existing clients, retention or relationship management.

    Advice to Management

From this position, we have no access to management - they seem capable - and all business functions are accountable to the process - they're just so far beyond the field, there isn't any way to engage them.

I have been working at Nestlé Waters North America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great corporate experience, company has great benefits and good pay.

    Cons

Overall the company is good to work for but this specific facility has failed in many areas that Nestle values as a company. The management is terrible and turns over at a minimum of annually. If you're a good employee they treat you like a work horse, give you a ton of duties that should not be your responsibility because we are always understaffed, and they do not compensate you for it. Most other Nestle facilities promote from within, but not this one. They tend to hire from outside so if you want to advance, you pretty much have to relocate.

    Advice to Management

Get good managers that will stay longer than 12 months. Promote from within instead of always hiring outside.
