I have been working at Nestlé Waters North America full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great corporate experience, company has great benefits and good pay.

    Cons

Overall the company is good to work for but this specific facility has failed in many areas that Nestle values as a company. The management is terrible and turns over at a minimum of annually. If you're a good employee they treat you like a work horse, give you a ton of duties that should not be your responsibility because we are always understaffed, and they do not compensate you for it. Most other Nestle facilities promote from within, but not this one. They tend to hire from outside so if you want to advance, you pretty much have to relocate.

    Advice to Management

Get good managers that will stay longer than 12 months. Promote from within instead of always hiring outside.

I worked at Nestlé Waters North America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Co-workers were fun to work with and helpful
    - Morning meetings and stretching
    - Free water while working
    - Good experience for Class B drivers
    - Lots of exercise
    - Alright health benefits

    Cons

    - The pay (the work needs to be better compensated for the employees, driving a large delivery vehicle takes special skill, especially in busy areas where pedestrians are everywhere. Combine that with delivering numerous 45 lb water bottles up and down stairs for 8 plus hours a day. Employees need to feel like they are worth something to their employer; in my eyes, the hourly pay should be at least doubled, and do away with commission)

    - Management could be better structured
    - Amount of daily delivery stops, reduce daily delivery stops to prevent incidents

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees as individuals, and with respect. Don't reprimand employees in front of the team, it brings down morale. Always praise, recognize and reward employees in front of team to motivate and bring morale up. Be approachable!

I worked at Nestlé Waters North America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Team is very friendly and always there to support you. Schedule is flexible, company cell phone and laptop are provided. Benefits and perks are good. Unit Leaders and HR are very nice people and always there to help. Always open to suggestions you may have to improve processes and they try to provide ways to make you a better employee. It is water, so unless the water runs out it is safe, steady employment.

    Cons

Company has an issue with frontline employee turnover. Zone Management needs to do a much better job at addressing this issue. Instead of saying there is a recruiting or staffing issue, the company needs to first figure out why candidates are leaving and second figure what they can do to keep them long term. Need to figure out how to keep good employees rather than just having to keep backfilling the same positions time and time again.

    Advice to Management

Reporting of turnover between Leaders and Recruiting needs to be better. Onboarding process should be sped up.
