I worked at Net100 full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great company to work for overall. I found the work to be rewarding and professional on all ends of the spectrum. I really enjoyed the people I had the opportunity to work with. I also liked that I was able to travel to different job sites every week or so. It was a nice change of pace. I thought the pay was good. The opportunity for promotion was also available for those who worked towards it. If you have a positive...

I worked at Net100 full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you like going to different sites and facing new challenges often, cable installation offers that.

    Cons

They groom a few leads, everyone else is considered expendable and typically swapped out among them at various job site. Some leads are truly unprofessional - aloof and arrogant, even outright condescending in dealing with their subordinates.

    Advice to Management

How about them high turnover rates....

    I worked at Net100 full-time

    Pros

The pay was better than average. $20-$25/hr with experience. $14/hr with little to no experience. Decent job for a single, non-parent. They will hire pretty much anyone (not necessarily a good thing if you're a lead)

    Cons

The pay was better than average but the sacrifices you are required to make for the company aren't worth it. You are expected to travel, a lot, with less than 24 hours notice, on your own time without reimbursement. If I had to do it over, I would not have given a 2 weeks notice. If you leave Net100 for a competitor, your employment will be terminated when you give your notice. If you go to a non-competitor, you will...

    Advice to Management

Give raises to those that deserve it. Research better health insurance options. Match a percentage of 401k investments. Seek management education just as you expect your technicians to seek technical education. Please, hire people with experience so the leads don't have to train new employees with no experience nonstop.

    I worked at Net100

    Pros

Consistent work, great co-workers and alot of opportunities to build your skills.

    Cons

Management doesn't value a good asset, pay isn't practical. I would advise anyone applying is to build your skills here and move on. There isn't any money to be made in this company.

    I worked at Net100 full-time

    Pros

Stable work and they have a lot of opportunities for overtime.

    Cons

Pay and increases aren't practical for the area we live in. You go from job to job all over and don't get the chance to finish the work you start. The leads only train you if they like you and if they don't like you then they send you to another site. Training is limited though they promise training when they hire you.

    Advice to Management

Better pay. Keep your promises to have training. Make leads respect all employees, not just those they like.
