I worked at Netcentric full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I'd say that the work environment is the best thing you'll find there and that's because most of the people are friendly and helpful, not to mention that the office looks pretty cool. The usual free coffee and tea are complemented with juice, biscuits and other snacks. The company supports and sponsors all kind of different events and team buildings. They have offices in different cities across Europe and you'll get...

    Cons

I would say that the technology stack is at least uncommon, they use the Adobe Marketing Cloud. In general, I think that AEM is a robust solution, however, its complexity may be found difficult at the beginning, especially for users who have never had any experience with such a tool before. The point is that AEM offers many features, and you will need some time to learn how to...

    Advice to Management

Improve promotion system. Don't reallocate resources in the middle of the project. Keep the nice work environment. Improve the benefits&compensations package.

I have been working at Netcentric full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Nice and talented coworkers - a good place to start and learn - International and diverse team - Large international customers with interesting projects - The company runs on Holacracy: No hierarchies, no politics, everybody can participate to make things better. I was able to do a lot of interesting work outside of my classic job role - Good hardware (Apple MacBook Pro) - Modern offices with a beautiful view (21st...

    Cons

    - The technology stack is limited due to very strong focus on Adobe Marketing Cloud - We are growing really fast and sometimes it gets a little bit messy. But usually, problems are solved quite quickly due to Holacracy

    Advice to Management

    - Hire UX experts and designers to be able to deliver great user experiences

I have been working at Netcentric full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good (Apple) equipment. Nice offices with comfortable furniture. Flexible working hours. Possibilities for remote work. Paid Adobe and Java certifications. Paid conference attendance once per year. Paid gym. 30 days of paid vacation per year. Usage of modern software to facilitate daily work (Jira, Slack, Bitbucket, Confluence, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Starleaf). Bonus system (very irrational...

    Cons

Declaratively, company is flat-structured and driven by Holacracy process. In reality, there is a small group of people which basically make all decisions behind the door. In this group are shareholders (The Founders) and several people who joined the company at the very beginning. The mental gap between The Founders and rest of the company is huge. Company values are not worth the paper they are written on. In reality,...

I have been working at Netcentric for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Young, flexible company - No old structures but actively lived and promoted flat hierarchies - Multiple offices but no single profit centers, everyone follows the same target - Project teams are staffed across multiple locations, giving you the opportunity to know more than just the people around you - Great employee participation in every aspect - Events and benefits - Top hardware & office equipment

    Cons

    - Tied to the Adobe Marketing cloud. However, this focus gives the company the advantage of being one of the most professional partners for this topic and thus boosts their success.

I have been working at Netcentric

    Pros

Netcentric is very transparent to its employees and doesn't have the traditional boss and team structure. Instead it implemented Holacracy which aims to distribute authority among self organising teams. Employees have much more freedom compared to other companies and this trust towards the employees is what sets this company apart for me. The focus on the full Adobe marketing cloud allows employees to diversify their...

    Pros

Offices are beautiful and in great cities Most people that work here are actually quite fun to be around Great company events throughout Europe Awesome equipment provided

    Cons

Company doesn't know what it wants to be Have a bunch of core values that are just painted everywhere but are not really followed Claims to be experts in Adobe Marketing Cloud, not entirely true, only truly experts in some parts. Workloads are too high Communication paths are not established, and are inconsistent internally Inconsistent work relationship with Adobe, inadequate...

    Advice to Management

Properly ID the company. We are not experts in the Adobe Marketing Cloud. How many experts do we have with Adobe Social or Adobe Test & Target? This alone would alleviate some of the projects we take on that we can't adequately support.

I worked at Netcentric full-time for less than a year

    Pros

If you are a German, it is the place to be. Good place if you are an Adobe Marketing Cloud consultant based in Central Europe Nice office and workstations

    Cons

Company values are not applied, are just stickers in the wall No benefits at all Working on weekends No respect for employees, remember they are human beings. Depending in what team you are, it really seems you are working in another company

    Advice to Management

Respect people no matter what their nationality, background or experience. Give opportunities to have a career in the company.
