Quite superficial but nice people can be found here!
Dec 21, 2022 - in HamburgRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- lots of international people - people are willing to hang out with you after work - depending on the assignment, you might get a valuable coach on your side
Cons
- no work/life balance: if you want to bring your career to the next level, engagement in activities and learning is a must and can bring you to 10 to 11 hours per day - tracked time is 100% client time although other consultant companies are not doing it like this - bigger events seem to be very superficial: in the end, who did the most (or sacrificed most of their work/life balance) for Netlight without compensation - it's a lot about seeing and being seen - WYLOB: referencing a new employee who gets the job is not being paid - congresses, events etc are not paid although they are beneficial for your career - you have to ask your client if they are willing to pay for that - no proper corporation with any fitness clubs

Pros
Great work life balance. They give attention to personal career development.
Cons
Not a con but you need to have a lot of self initiative in the beginning, since there's no bosses to tell you what to do.

I love working at Netlight because of the unique and genuine culture. You can feel it the minute you walk through the door at any office. Netlighters really lives through shared values, groundbreaking knowledge sharing and a heartfelt passion for creating great results. with a genuine and sincere focus on equality through all parts of the organization.
Cons
The hours can be long, however it is great fun. Just make sure to have that work/life balance under control. Also, some people may not fit into an organizations without strong hierarchies. But for those who do, the opportunities are countless!

Great modern company
Aug 30, 2021 - IT Consultant in Stockholm, StockholmRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Culture, freedom, flexibility and development possibilities. Flat hierarchy and average young workforce. Chance to work with great talent along all areas.
Cons
As with all consulting, requires extra hours beyond the 40h/week though those 40h are sticked to and work life balance is generally good

Why I work at Netlight
Aug 10, 2016 - Senior Consultant in Stockholm, StockholmRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
- I been working at Netlight for 3+ years and are constantly pushed out of my comfort-zone and challenged to improve my own skill set. - My colleagues always have my back if I'm faced with a challenge, personal or business related, I always have very talented and attentive people to talk to, and the support I've got over the years is amazing. - I have the opportunity to work internationally with very interesting and innovative clients. - I feel that the effort I put into Neltight is very appreciated and rewarded not only in terms of money but in responsibility and trust, Netlight definitely promotes success and hard work - Transparency and communication is something Netlight talk a lot about and something that's really emphasized and improves continuously and Netlight is taking on the challenge of how to keep a high level of transparency with a high growth rate. - Good work life balance
Cons
- If you are the type of person who likes set rules and guidelines for everything you will find it challenging at times, there is no "How to Netlight" - Limited to Europe, Netlight opens new offices continuously but at this moment there is unfortunately no offices in the US or Asia - Netlight offers a huge competence bank for those who want to take part of it but you have to invest your own time and effort to grow. A person who does not strive for personal development and taking part of and sharing their own competence to the Netlight network might not be a perfect fit for Netlight.
