Pros
From the First time you are contacted you are well followed up and informed about the next steps in your process and the Interview process is also very smooth and was always on point. Siddhanth and Reethika was the person who was my point of Contact and they followed up and kept me informed of my results and the next process and Siddhanth helped me process my profile quickly The work after onboarding was also very good and the team is supportive in tasks and has great learning opportunity and overall it was an excellent experience from the day 1 of Contact
Cons

Cons
Remote work takes getting used to.

Ancestry vs Netskope. I understand these are two vastly different companies. One is a DNA tracing provision company and the other is a cloud security provision market leader. Ancestry’s a Technical Program Manager role and Netskope is a Technical Project Manager role. Both pre-ipo but I think Netskope is validated at $9B? Compensation seems to be both $115k+bonus+RSU, but Netskope is a remote based, so it’s not SF market rate even though I’m in SF. What would you guys choose?

As a follow up info: Ancestry’s culture is very relaxed with tons of work-life balance. Collaboration is installed in their culture already Netskope sounds to be a little more shaky because of their hyper growth phase. It does sound like work life balance could be harder to reach. Ancestry’s compensation range was $110-$120k and settled at $115k without any negotiation. So room for negotiation I believe but not too much Netskope didnt specify any range, but when I said $115k base they seemed to be very happy with that number. I believe there’s a lot more room for negotiation here but keep in mind it’s not SF/Bay Area market based salary… its Remote. So I’m curious how much more I could negotiate knowing that I initially mentioned $115k… maybe $130k base?
