Run away from this company
Jan 15, 2021 - Customer Service Representative in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
There is really no pros for this company. I thought it was good at first, but it all was a facade.
Cons
I have never been at a job where i was ready to fight upper management. They under appreciated the hardworking employees This company is very hypocritical

Pros
Great location downtown, good work-life balance, good recognition program. Good morale and departments get along generally well for the most part.
Cons
No diversity in upper management, no formal career development for employees, women and minorities seem to struggle for promotions and when turned down or overlooked, they leave for better pay and better opportunities.

Better product than company
Oct 18, 2013 - Anonymous Employee in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good people Executive team with a vision Location, location, location - and parking is good for all downtown events.
Cons
* pays way below market, which I learned once I got the same job at another company * No diversity in upper management * As someone else mentioned, HR is totally inept and worthless to everyone except management.

Avoid this company. Worked here 2.75 years and the environment and culture was slowly destroyed by TSYS.
May 17, 2017 - QA Engineer in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The cons far overshadow any Pros left here. Pay rate was near the scale average. If you're in management, you are more likely to get a promotion.
Cons
Management and upper management see a lot of promotions while neglecting the masses. Saw my manager and their director get three promotions in 2.5 years while people under them got none. They hired new replacements to fill the gaps once they advanced. Leaving reports under new management constantly. A relaxed environment turned to a stressful rule based environment.

This company needs to install agile management methods and start delighting customers.
Sep 15, 2013 - Operations in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Purchased by a bigger company, TSYS, so there's potential for improvement. Downtown Austin location.
Cons
Lack of diversity in upper management, both in style and philosophy. Although a generally positive workplace, you still need to be a white-male-hetero-married-with-small-children to run things. Only 2 women VP's or above -- no gays, blacks, or ethnics.
