I worked at Nevada State Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Was an awesome department to work in. Coworkers were accepting and willing to show me the ropes. Direct management was very open and honest about changes in the company, as well as HR.

    Cons

Upper management was nonexistent. Worked there for almost 3 years and probably only saw upper management in the department twice!

I worked at Nevada State Bank full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Good training program, for those whom are just starting.

    Cons

Too many loop holes in the rules and regulations. All up to managements discretion. Lots of turnover with staff.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your front line about management might save you some turnover.

I worked at Nevada State Bank full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Paid holidays and decent hours.

    Cons

Horrible place to work. Always understaffed. Unrealistic goals and management is clueless. Go look on the job boards and that will tell you right there. Always looking to hire people because of high turnover. Worst benefits I have ever seen at a job.

    Advice to Management

Senior management is a joke. The bank is 20 years behind it's time and once the older generation passes away this bank will be closing.

I have been working at Nevada State Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

None, none, good for the first 90 days and after it about selling or you lose your job. Not long term work.

    Cons

Low Salary. Teller 1 to teller 5/FRS at 11.00-15.00 per hr. Bad insurance at a $4500 deductible. Sale Goal: Don't meet the first time after your 90 days, you get a verbal, second time a write-up, and third time you get fired. Be prepare to sale credit card and loans. They don't care about their tellers or FSR. Like they said we are replaceable. Very bad management. Only care for their Mormon employees. Don't...

    Advice to Management
