I have been working at New Century Health full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company has transformed tremendously! Meaningful work making an impact on Oncology and Cardiology treatments. Leadership changes show, work environment is positive and upbeat.

    Cons

Small company going through pretty a typical growing pains around systems, processes and new managers. While not perfect, NCH is clearly butting things in place to continue their rapid growth.

    Advice to Management

Push in more communications is really appreciated, keep it up!

I have been working at New Century Health full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Office job. If you've worked in retail pharmacy, having a cube and a set full-time schedule is a definite plus.

    Cons

Growing company with growing pains. Management can use leadership training and things are not fully transparent.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees, otherwise everyone is always leaving.

    Pros

Great benefits package. You learn alot. The company is growing fast.

    Cons

Training needs to be more streamlined and they definitely need to hire more people because of how fast they are growing,

I worked at New Century Health full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are amazing. If you're elderly and need to see frequently see your physician, the insurance benefits are great because you pay zero out of pocket on nearly everything.

    Cons

The atmosphere is kind of like Game of Thrones meets The Office. Some people are fun to work with and can be helpful when needed...while others are there to stab you in the back to go up the corporate ladder. It seems like the more devious you are and the more cutthroat you can be to your colleagues, the more you will succeed in this company. The hourly pay was horrible. In 3 years of working with the company, I received 2 raises that combined for .49 cents. One time during a performance review, I was given a raise of 9 cents. Maybe because I was young and thought that was normal for a company to do that to their employees so I didn't say anything but, "Thank you." Now that I am older, I would stand up for myself after being insulted with a 9 cent slap-to-the-face raise.

    Advice to Management

They need managers with more people skills. Everything can't always be whats best for themselves only.

I worked at New Century Health full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great location, great benefits (company pays 100% for employees) good shift options. Decent pay, but only up until recently.

    Cons

High school vibe, management isn't as open as they claim, will use what you tell them in confidence against you, supervisors are untrained. MAC supervisor holds grudges and will exert power over employees to make examples. Open door policy is a joke.

    Advice to Management

Grow up, get rid of cliques amongst employees, train supervisors, get rid of all the middle men amongst management.

I have been working at New Century Health full-time

    Pros

Great hard working team, most people who do the work are very passionate about what they do

    Cons

The company is too top heavy - for a small company of this size, there are too many C and V levels who really don;t understand the actual process and capable of making right decisions. People are getting tired of being overworked and not appreciated. No one is listening to word of reason and there seem to be a serious lack of common sense

    Advice to Management

Start promoting people from within - those that actually understand the product and the process instead of hiring people that are ignorant and entitled and don't care about the company's history and what it stands for

I worked at New Century Health full-time

    Pros

    -Flexibility to work from home
    -Nice office space
    -Some nice co-workers
    -Good benefits
    -Okay pay

    Cons

-Top heavy company (too many directors and manager with no mid-level staff)
    -Awful management
-No room for growth for mid-level employees
-NO direction: this company has little training for its employees
-Many unfriendly personalities/big egos among upper management
    -HR is untrustworthy and unreliable
-If you have problems, you are better off keeping your mouth shut and going with the flow until you can find a new position. There is little room for moving/growth in this company...so don't even ask.

    Advice to Management

Drop the egos. Coach your employees instead of assuming they understand everything. You would be a more productive and economically stable company if people enjoyed working for you.
