I have been working at New England Patriots full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Its great being able to work for a winning team and be able to experience what its like to be part of a Super Bowl win. All of staff get along extremely well, everyone is so friendly to each other and you really create some great friendships.

    Cons

The Patriots definitely offers a "Boys Club" mentality and I don’t think that they are being progressive women in the workforce which is surprising as we do have a women CMO. There is an extremely obvious favorite-ism towards men in this organization and its noticeable by who is promoted each year. The HR department sets rules but I’ve learned more employees are the exception than the rule. It always seems these rules...

    Advice to Management

If I could make one plea to ownership it would be to take more time getting to know the people coming up through your ranks because now is when you have amazing people coming and going but you’re too busy with Tom Brady to get to know your employees. When Tom Brady and BB are gone, so will all the employees that you should have paid more attention to. You should be working with the employees while the team is great so...

Winning is not only done on the field but behind the scenes as well. Dedication and commitment are the only option to succeed!!!

    Cons

Odd hours and weekends take a toll but that's only during the season.

    Pros

You get to tell people you work for the Patriots.

    Cons

The low pay, hours, and lack of upward mobility makes this a very difficult place to work.

I have been working at New England Patriots

    Pros

Exciting atmosphere and the chance to work with talented people. Everyone here is focused and likes to make the job as fun as can be.

    Cons

Heavy competition and low starting wage. There are many people looking to get their foot in the door with this highly successful organization.

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone with respect, as there are a lot of overworked and under appreciated roles in the entertainment industry. The Kraft Sports Group does their best to make everyone feel welcomed, continuing to do so will only benefit everybody.

I worked at New England Patriots full-time

    Pros

Exciting environment. Great job right out of college if you can live at home. Staff is very friendly and close. As a full time employee I had to work all games, but we did recieve 2 tickets per game for our family to use.

    Cons

Pay is insulting for the caliber of employees they are looking for. Long hours and no room for growth hence the high turnover. Yes, everyone wants to work there, because the team is doing well, but that is no excuse for not valuing your employees or paying them what they are worth. Department heads have been around for a LONG time and some of them are very unprofessional. For the amount of success the team has and revenue...

    Advice to Management

Value your employees and their loyalty. You are looking for stellar employees, so pay them and motivate them to want to stay. The staff should share in the accomplishments of the team as they put in very long hours yet, the success of the team is only celebrated by the players and upper, upper management and more work is thrown on employees.

Former Employee - Promotional Leader in Providence, RI

I worked at New England Patriots for more than 3 years

    Pros

Paid 50 Dollars Per Game, released from work during third quarter. Was able to stay and watch the game after work.

    Cons

Really just busy work. Getting laughed at by ticket holders trying to promote the don't drink and drive campaign with ticket holders intoxicated.

    Advice to Management

With Intern positions help to figure out where the position could led in the future. Also understand how difficult it is to talk to fans about not drinking and driving when you are allowing them into the stadium intoxicated.
